Andrew is smart, talented and funny. He is also the most dedicated and determined person I know. When he decides to go after a goal, he keeps going until he accomplishes it. When Andrew was a child, he taught himself to play the piano, and he still plays today. Commitment is evident in everything he does, which is just one of the traits that will make him a great father. Andrew is also a talented artist and chef, but my favorite thing about him is his wit. He has a great sense of humor that always seems to pop up at the perfect time.
Andrew was raised with three younger siblings in a large, close-knit family in Arkansas. His family owns a lot of land so he and his brothers and sister would ride their bikes and play on acres of hills and forests. He spent holidays with his entire family, a tradition we each continue to this day.
Andrew loves children—so much so that he made it his career to keep them healthy. He is a doctor specializing in child and adolescent psychiatry. After earning his Doctor of Medicine degree he worked for several hospitals and was a partner in a private medical practice. Now, he works for St Jude Children’s Research Hospital. He is empathetic and caring, and has a huge heart. He is a natural caretaker and nurturer. I’m so proud of his accomplishments and feel fortunate to have found my soulmate. I can hardly wait to grow our family and have our children experience what an incredible dad he is.
